The Group CEO of GOIL PLC and the Executive Team Are Participating in OTC 2025

As part of our strategic commitment to expand GOIL PLC’s footprint in the upstream oil and gas sector through our subsidiary, GOIL Upstream Limited (GOULSTREAM), my team and I are participating in the 2025 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas.

Our presence at OTC 2025 is driven by the following key objectives:

  1. Positioning GOIL as a Serious Upstream Player
Our attendance signals GOIL’s commitment to developing a credible and competitive upstream presence. It reinforces our intent to play a more active role in Ghana’s upstream sector and beyond.
  2. Identifying Technology for Cost-Effective Operations
OTC showcases the latest offshore exploration and production technologies. We are here to evaluate innovative solutions that can drive operational efficiency, enhance safety, and ensure environmental compliance for GOULSTREAM.
  3. Engaging Strategic Partners and Investors
The conference provides a global networking platform to engage potential technical partners, financiers, and service providers. We aim to explore joint ventures, strategic alliances, and farm-in opportunities aligned with our upstream agenda.
  4. Gathering Market and Regulatory Intelligence
My team and I are attending high-level panels and technical sessions to gain insights into global market trends, regulatory evolutions, and transition frameworks — knowledge that will inform our investment planning and risk management strategies.
  5. Building Technical and Leadership Capacity
Participation enhances the exposure and competence of our leadership and technical teams. It contributes to our broader objective of building local content and strengthening Ghanaian expertise in offshore operations.
  6. Enhancing GOIL’s Global Profile
By participating at this prestigious global platform, we are also raising the profile of GOIL PLC and positioning GOULSTREAM as a company ready for serious upstream partnerships and responsible resource development.

Our presence at OTC 2025 is not just symbolic; it is a deliberate step toward realizing GOIL’s vision of becoming a fully integrated energy company. The insights, relationships, and opportunities emerging from this engagement will directly contribute to advancing Ghana’s energy independence and long-term growth.
