As Ghana’s energy sector continues to evolve, fostering the right environment for investment and collaboration remains essential. Today, I had a valuable engagement with Paul Sinclair, Head of Africa Oil Week (AOW), to explore strategies for positioning Ghana as a prime destination for oil and gas investments.
With GNPC’s 40th anniversary in 2025, alongside the upcoming AOW event and the APPO Chief Executives Forum in Ghana this year, we have a unique opportunity to showcase the country’s immense potential on the global stage. These platforms provide a critical avenue to drive discussions on investment-friendly policies, optimizing our hydrocarbon resources, and ensuring Ghana’s continued competitiveness in Africa’s upstream sector.
While we embrace the energy transition, hydrocarbons remain integral to our energy mix. Our focus is on maximizing value, refining policies, and leveraging strategic partnerships to sustain and expand our industry. GNPC remains committed to working closely with key stakeholders to turn this vision into reality.
