GOIL PLC GROUP CEO & MD UNDERTAKES STRATEGIC WORKING VISIT TO SUBSIDIARIES AND OPERATIONAL SITES

The Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of GOIL PLC, Mr. Edward Abambire Bawa, has undertaken a strategic working visit to key subsidiaries and operational sites of the company. This initiative forms part of his broader commitment to deepen insight into on-the-ground operations, foster cross-functional collaboration, and align subsidiary activities with GOIL’s overarching strategic vision.

During the visit, Mr. Bawa toured several critical installations, including the GO Bitumen Plant, GOIL Liquefied Bottling Plant, Ghana Bunkering Services (GBS), and the Central Storage Depot in Tema. The objective was to assess the operational status of these facilities, identify opportunities for improvement, and engage directly with both leadership and frontline staff to strengthen internal cohesion and operational responsiveness.

In a related engagement, the Group CEO visited the GOIL Zonal Office in Kpone-Tema, where he interacted with staff, commended them for their commitment to excellence, and encouraged the continuation of high service standards across all touchpoints.

Mr. Bawa was accompanied by key members of the management team, including Dr. Marcus Dake, Head of Corporate Affairs; Ing. Denis Nii-Komiete Amui, Head of Operations; Ing. Joshua Duodu, Head of Technical and Special Products; Mr. Roger Baah, Head of IT; Mr. Kingsley Ansah, Head of Estates; Mr. Mark Ofori Amanfo, Technical Advisor to the Group CEO & MD; Dr. Alhassan M. Kamil, Business Development Manager; and Mr. Robert Kyere, Public Relations Manager.

This engagement underscores Mr. Bawa’s leadership approach centered on operational excellence, staff empowerment, and unified execution of GOIL’s long-term growth agenda.
